mm2h (Malaysia My Second Home Programme) - Application
Applicants who wish to apply to stay in Malaysia under MM2H programme are required to submit the following documents.
1) Letter of Application (cover letter)
- Personal background as well as your intention in joining the programme
- Person with whom you wish to come with (single or with family members)
- Briefly explain how you will support your stay in Malaysia (financial capability) Indicate the financial criterion you wish to use; either Fixed Deposit or monthly off-shore income (for 50 years and above category)
2) Two (2) copies of Social Visit Pass Application Forms (Form 1M.12)
3) Two (2) coloured passport-sized photographs
4) Personal Bond (with MM2H licensed company)
5) Certified copy of Passport / Travel document (all pages)
6) Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (of accompanied by children)
7) Certified copy of Birth Certificate (if accompanied by children)
8) Resume of past 10 years working experience
9) Certified copy of latest bank statement / other related financial documents to indicate financial capability to support stay in Malaysia
10) At least 3 months’ certified copies of pay slips / pension for applicants aged 50 years and above who wish to apply for the ‘proof of monthly off-shore income’ criterion
Note
- Dependants refer to children aged below 18 years old and not married.
- Participants from selected countries who are entering Malaysia with a Tourist Social Visit Pass prior to approval of Malaysia My Second Home programme are required to pay for the Journey Performed Visa (JP) fee of RM500. The payment should be made to Immigration Department Putrajaya before Endorsement of Malaysia My Second Home status with a Multiple-Entry Social Visit Pass.
- Certification can be done by Notary Public / Commissioner for Oaths / Government Official.
- If successful, applicants are given 6-months from the date of the Conditional Approval Letter to open a fixed deposit account in Malaysia, submit medical report and purchase medical insurance policy. A multiple-Entry Social Pass will be issued upon fulfilling all the criteria. A payment of RM90 is required for each year of the Social Visit Pass.
